Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company is a Vietnam-based company operating in the energy sector. It produces and trades electricity, as well as manages, operates and maintains electrical equipment and power plants. In addition, the Company manufactures pure drinking water, metallic products and processes and trades agricultural products and seafood. It is also involved in materials trading, industrial construction, real estate trading and goods and passengers transportation. Other activities include rental services of fixed assets, ports, offices, transportation means, hotel services and restaurant services. As of December 31, 2008, electricity trading accounted for 85.42% of its revenues. Electricity of Vietnam Corporation is the parent of the Company.
