Vietnam Vegetable Oils Industry Corporation produces and trades vegetable oils, animal fats, essential oils, aromas, cosmetics, toiletries, coconut shell charcoal, and products from oil plants. It also processes animal feed; produces and trades packings; processes food and foodstuff products comprising wheat milling products, instant noodles, confectioneries, and milk; and produces bio-diesel, beer, and soft drinks. In addition, the company imports, exports, and trades materials, raw materials, vegetable oils, essential oils, and oil-based agricultural and forestry products; and operates a port, as well as provides port services for importing and exporting vegetable oils and other commodities. Further it is involved in the rental of storages, yards, and office buildings; and investment and development of oilseed growing regions. The company was formerly known as South Vegetable Oil Company. Vietnam Vegetable Oils Industry Corporation was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As on July 5, 2015, Vietnam Vegetable Oils Industry Corporation operates as a subsidiary of KIDO Group Corporation.
