Central Area Electrical Mechanical JSC is a Vietnam-based equipment manufacturer. The Company mainly produces, assembles, and markets mechanical machinery and equipment for industrial production. It is also involved in manufacturing and merchandise of electrical wires, cables, transformers and other composite equipments used in electricity transmission. The Company provides architectural and engineering services to electricity and telecommunication works, as well as engages in supporting activities of general merchandise of supplies, vehicle leasing, and transportation. As of December 31, 2008, sale of heavy machinery and electrical equipments contributed to 89.67% total revenue. The Company is subsidiary of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), and has two affiliates engaged in hospitality and electrical material sectors.
