MaSan Group Corporation has explained the fluctuation in profit after tax in Quarter 1/2020 as follows:

Consolidated financial statements:

In Quarter 1/2020, the Company had a loss after tax of 216 billion dongs compared to profit after tax in Quarter 4/2019 of 1,748 billion dongs because of the interest expenses increased and financial income decreased.

Separate financial statements:

In Quarter 1/2020, the Company had a loss after tax of 111 billion dongs compared to profit after tax in Quarter 4/2019 of 44 billion dongs because of the interest expenses increased 46 billion dongs and financial income decreased 160 billion dongs.
