Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company explains the fluctuation in the consolidated financial statements in the fiscal year 2018 – 2019 (from 07/01/2018 to 06/30/2019) compared to the same period of last year as follows:

The Company’s profit before tax decreased by 38% and the consolidated profit after tax in the fiscal year 2018 – 2019 decreased by 52% compared to the same period because of the following causes:

-       The average selling price unit was lower than the price in the same period, while there was sugar inventory at a high cost. Besides, the sugar price in the world has gone down sharply and the amount of smuggled sugar increased. These made the sugar price in Vietnam continuously decreased. This is the direct reason for the decline of the Company’s profit after tax.    

-       The Company's selling expenses in the fiscal year 2018 - 2019 increased by VND 82.7 billion over the same period mainly due to the increase in sales from 571,502 tons to 748,632 tons. Besides, in the period, the Company invested in the distribution system and export channel.
